Woman freaked out by ‘glitch’ as bedroom mirror shows reflection she can’t see

What would you do if you spotted something in the mirror that didn’t really seem to be there?

This was the situation one woman found herself in recently, after spotting an unusual reflection in her bedroom mirror.

The woman was so baffled by the whole thing and didn’t know what was happening so she decided to film it so others could decide for themselves what was going on.

She branded it a “glitch” and shared her post on TikTok asking: “What does this mean?”

In the clip, she shows how she was just sitting on her bed, minding her own business when she noticed that the reflection in the mirror showed steam coming out of her diffuser.

However, in her room, she couldn’t see anything coming out of it.

At first she thought it was a trick of the light and just where she was sitting, but even when she got up close to the diffuser, she claims she still couldn’t see anything.

In a voice-over, she explains: “Ok I literally can’t make this s**t up.

“At first I was just sitting here like, maybe it’s where I’m sitting, cause like my diffuser, nothing’s coming out of it, but in the mirror, stuff is coming out of it.

“So I get up close to it and dude, look, there’s nothing coming out of that, but in the mirror…”

Her clip went viral, being watched more than two million times and garnering over 591,000 likes.

People had all sorts of interesting responses to the video, with some sharing their own theories.

One person wrote: “Meanwhile… the you from the other side of the mirror is making a TikTok about her diffuser having steam but in her mirror… nothing is coming out.”

Someone else said: “You can’t convince me mirrors aren’t a portal to another universe.”

“The people programming the simulation have been getting real lazy nowadays,” replied someone else.

A different user added: “My thought is the angle the light is hitting the smoke. Like from your perspective you can’t see it, but from the mirror, you can.”

“Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s just how the light from your window is reflecting onto it,” agreed a second.
